MP Revenue and Transport Minister Govind Singh Rajput said by 2024, every eligible beneficiary will have a pucca house.
He said Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna amount deposited in the account of 800 beneficiaries of Surkhi.
Thousands of crores of development works are going on in Surkhi assembly constituency, which is witness to the development of Surkhi and this development chariot will continue like this, said Revenue and Transport Minister Govind Singh Rajput.
He said this on the occasion of depositing the instalment in the accounts of the beneficiaries of PM Awas in Surkhi.
Rajput said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan think that not a single eligible beneficiary will remain without a house.
The amount for construction of house has been deposited in the accounts of 1000 persons and other persons who have not received their names or installments, do not worry, soon money will be deposited in their accounts as well, he said.
By the year 2024, our aim is to make a pucca house for every eligible beneficiary, he said.
Rajput said that the amount of PM housing will be deposited in the accounts of the beneficiaries again in two months. In the programme, development works worth crores were inaugurated and Bhumi Pujan was done by the Revenue and Transport Minister at passenger waiting room, selfie point and foreline.
Addressing the residents of the area, Rajput said that a residential building has been constructed for the revenue officials in Surkhi, in which the revenue officials will now be available for the residents 24 hours a day so that the residents of the area do not have to go to sagar for their work.
Along with this, Rs 2 crore has been sanctioned for the bus stand in Surkhi, so that Surkhi will be built like a state-of-the-art metropolitan bus stand.
Rajput said that there is no shortage of money, don’t worry about money in development works.
A large number of BJP leaders and residents including Surkhi Municipal Council President Sita Omkar Singh, Vice President Municipal Council Bahadur Singh Thakur, Sarman Singh, Arun Gautam, Kamlesh Pandey, Vijay Barkoti, Dinesh Mishra, Tikaram Choubey were present on this occasion.
