From July 30, the Odisha Board of Secondary Education will conduct special board examinations for class 10 students in offline mode. Students who are dissatisfied with their marks secured under the board’s new scoring criteria can appear. As a result of the cancellation of this year’s annual board examinations are encouraged to take the offline test.
The offline exams will start on July 30 and will last until August 5. According to the board’s release, interested candidates can fill out the exam forms online between July 5 and July 14. The BSE has announced that students will not be charged for exams.
After the results are declared, students will be able to upload their marks Plus II admissions.“We assure the students that BSE will take appropriate measures to publish the results of the special offline exams within 15 days. The students will not face any problems in Plus II admissions,” said Samir Dash.
Further, he clarified that the special offline examination will be held based on 70% syllabus as 30% syllabus has been reduced. Students are disappointed with their marks this year. Many students have claimed they could have scored better. Now the Odisha Education Ministry is getting ready for the offline examinations in July-Aug 2021.
