Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has urged the women organizations of the state to launch a signature campaign in all the districts in favor of the laws that execute the excesses against the culprits who have been harassing the women and to create an environment in favor of the law. , So that the whole country can benefit from it. On Thursday, women’s organizations across the state were assembled to congratulate Chief Minister Chouhan for making revolutionary laws, which were created to protect the dignity of daughters in Dussehra grounds. On this occasion, thousands of women took the hands up and expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister on the execution of the perpetrators and agreed with his brave decision.
The Chief Minister told the women, working in different areas of the state that it is not a compliment but it is an opportunity to take a resolve to protect the dignity and respect of daughters. He urged the women to lead the Jan-Jagran campaign for the protection of daughters and go ahead in respect.
The Chief Minister said that there is a need to run a comprehensive campaign to change the malicious headship mentality towards daughters and women. Women’s power will have to be awakened and society will experience its power. Chouhan said that ADG will be appointed separately to monitor crimes against women. Four IGs will also be for their cooperation. They will keep a constant eye on crimes related to women.
He told that to establish a huge statue of Adi Shankaracharya and to collect metal and soil from the corners of the state, the Ekatmam Yatra is going to fall from December 19. Saint-Mahatma joining this will give the message ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ to the society along with the journey.
He said that for those who have a bad watch on the daughters, the government has made a severe punishment like to hang them till death, but society will have to change the male dominant mentality that women are only the commodity of consumption. On this occasion BJP National Vice President Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, State BJP President Nandkumar Singh Chauhan and Chief Minister’s wife Sadhna Singh were also present. The Chief Minister washed feet of the young girls and did their Aarti along with his wife. Chauhan was given a congratulatory letter on behalf of women for the initiative to implement revolutionary law to protect the daughters.
