On the suggestion of setting-up a separate commission or board, necessary decision will be taken after discussion and consultation with prominent persons of the society.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that one who knows Brahma or God is a Brahmin. Brahmins have done the work of preserving Indian life-values and culture. Today, the main reason for the unity of India is the important work done by Adi Shankaracharya to unite India. The work of establishing Shankaracharya’s statue and establishment of Advaita Sansthan is going on in Omkareshwar. Be it our traditions or the field of literature or the field of science, politics, geography etc., there is no discipline in which Brahmins are not proficient, if Chanakya was not there then Chandragupta would not have been there either. Mangal Pandey fired the first bullet for India’s freedom movement. Be it Bismil or Chandrashekhar Azad, they sacrificed their lives for freedom. Tagore, Lata Didi and Makhanlal Chaturvedi were born from Brahmin society. The talents of Brahmin society have done wonderful work in many fields.
Public Works Minister Gopal Bhargava said that the Brahmin society should present an example of mutual co-operation in case of education of poor children, marriage of daughters of poor families, accident or other crisis. It is necessary to expand this feeling. The Brahmin class has been successful in various fields by the use of intelligence, knowledge and strength of character. Today, there is a need for continuous guidance by the brothers of the society to the youths not to consume alcohol and avoid other evils.
Former Union Minister Suresh Pachauri said that Brahmin society wishes for the welfare of all. It is our responsibility to educate such people of the society who are not able to get education due to lack of money.
Member of Parliament Vishnu Dutt Sharma said that the Brahmin class has made significant contribution in the preservation of religion, culture and the governance system. Adi Shankaracharya tied the nation in one thread. The contribution of the society in the spiritual field is continuously being received. Initiative has been taken to establish 108 feet statue of Lord Parshuram in Vijayraghavgarh. Sumit Pachauri read the 11-point suggestion letter on behalf of the Brahmin community.
