Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the beneficiaries of public welfare and beneficial schemes should be given opportunities to share with the general public their experiences of joining the schemes.
A special session should be held for dialogue in the programmes being held at the district level. Beneficiaries themselves should tell how they got associated with the schemes and what changes have come in their lives. With the sharing of such experiences, people will get to know about the schemes, he said. They themselves will be motivated to join the schemes and get benefitted.
Chouhan was virtually reviewing with senior officials the ongoing preparations for the foundation stone laying ceremony of Rewa Airport on February 15 and the programme to be held in Gwalior on February 17 at the residence office, Samatva Bhawan.
Women’s conference will be held in Rewa on February 15
Chouhan said that the foundation stone of Rewa airport is the guarantee of development of Vindhya region. With this, the connectivity of Rewa including Sidhi, Satna, Singrauli and Panna with major cities of the country will get a boost and the economic activities of the region will be encouraged. Women’s conference will also be held in Rewa, in which Ladli Laxmi, women sports talents and enterprising women will be felicitated. Chouhan will also honour senior citizens who have made remarkable contribution in the development of Rewa. Along with this, a booklet focused on the beneficiaries of various development schemes will be released. Chouhan will perform bhoomi-pujan of works costing more than Rs. 800 crore. Among them are also 5 CM Rise schools.
Programmes of Gwalior on 17 February
It was informed that the programme will be held at the Police Training Center at Tighra in Gwalior from 1 pm on February 17. Chouhan will perform bhoomi-pujan and dedicate the development works of SADA area. Along with this, benefits will be distributed to the beneficiaries of various schemes. Union Minister for Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Narendra Singh Tomar and Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia will preside over the programme to be held in the chief hospitality of Chief Minister Chouhan. Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Horticulture Food Processing Bharat Singh Kushwaha, MP Gwalior Vivek Narayan Shejwalkar and District Panchayat President Gwalior Durgesh Kunwar Singh will be special guests. There will also be interaction with the beneficiaries of various flagship schemes.
Chouhan will participate in the Vikas Yatra of Churhat district Sidhi on February 17. CM Chouhan will participate in the bhoomi-pujan and foundation stone-laying programmes of development works and will also interact with the beneficiaries. Officers of Rewa, Sidhi and Gwalior attended the meeting virtually.
