Subject experts expressed such views in the panel discussion on “India’s Perspective on Climate Change and Positive Efforts for Climate Protection at National and International Levels” in the seminar on “Contribution of States in Global Efforts for Climate Change – India’s Commitment”.

Climate Justice is Necessary

Retired IAS Ravi Shankar Prasad said that there is a need to create a solid framework for entering carbon markets.

This will provide financial assistance to natural farming and sustainable forest development and environmental efforts.

Prasad said that climate change has the greatest impact on the poor, so climate justice is necessary.

Create Nature Volunteers

Senior journalist Abhilash Khandekar said that there is a need to create Nature Volunteers to bring about change at the grassroots level.
