In view of this problem of drought, teams of Team India and South Africa have given assistance of 1 lakh South African rand (8570 dollars i.e. 5,56,407 rupees). Both teams captain Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis handed over the check to the organization of the Gift of the Givers last Sunday.
This institution will use this amount to distribute water bottles and water to the needy. Afridi captain Faf du Plessis said on this crisis, it was a big crisis for us. On this tour we talked to Virat and decided that we will do auction by some jerseys and we will raise funds from them. Du plessis said that we will also make people aware about it.
