Attempts to bridge the gap between the Supreme Court Chief Justice Deepak Mishra and his four judges have risen. On Saturday, various steps were taken to resolve this in different meetings of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) and Bar Council of India (BCI). SCBA president Vikas Singh said that in the resolution passed in his meeting, it was decided that the issues raised by the four judges are serious and should be resolved immediately by the bar.
The second proposal states that PIL should deal only with Chief Justice or it should be sent to the Collegium of five judges. Even in the case of PIL listed for January 15, it should be followed. It is important to maintain the reliability of the top court.
Singh said that to solve the issues, the first meeting of the SCBA will be with the Chief Justice. If they agree with the perspective of the agreed bar then the other judges will also be taken to the meeting. Bar believes that the full bench of the Supreme Court should consider the issues raised by the judges.
The BCI team of seven members is formed
On the issue, Bar Council of India also decided to constitute a seven-member delegation to mediate between the two sides in this meeting. This delegation will meet chief justice and honorable judges on Sunday. BCI chairman Manan Kumar Mishra said that we want to get the solution as soon as possible.
