A passenger plane of Bangladesh has crashed in Nepal. A plane from the US-Bangladeshi Airlines collided with the runway after landing on Nepal’s Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on Monday.
News Agency Reuters has told the army spokesman that at least 50 people have died in the Nepal plane crash. There were 67 passengers and four crew members in the plane. On the spot, the work of safely evacuating the passengers continues. The injured have been admitted to KMC Hospital. Plane in the accident has been completely shattered.
Crash at the time of landing
Kathmandu Post told TIA spokesman Premnath Thakur that after landing the plane got stuck on the runway and there was a fire and it crashed after going to a football field near the airport. In the soccer field, the accidental spot was seen as a rage of black smoke. According to the local media of Nepal, plane is S2-AGU Bombardier Dash 8 Q400. However, it has not been officially confirmed.
