In a fresh attack on the Congress, former leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said the party needs medicines for treating from doctors and not compounders.
He said I can only give my best wishes to the Congress, but the Congress needs medicines more than my wishes. And, these medicines are being provided to the Congress by compounders instead of doctors and there is a need for specialists.
Azad accused the party leadership for not giving time to set right things in the organisation.
Azad quit the Congress on Friday last.
Azad is in a mood to form his own political party instead of joining any party including BJP.
He rubbished the rumors of his joining BJP.
He told the reporters the party’s foundation has turned very weak.
The way the things are going in the organisation can fall anytime was reason to quit it, he said.
Attacking those who opposed him in the Congress, he compared those with a clerk who work against individuals.
On Rahul Gandhi role in the party, he said, “It seems he does not have the aptitude for politics, as we tried to make him into a leader and made many efforts in this regard”.
The Congress hit back and accused Azad of indulging in treachery.
Congress general secretary communications Jairam Ramesh tweets after such a long career, courtesy entirely the party he’s been tasked to slander, by giving interviews indiscriminately, Mr Azad diminishes himself further. What’s he afraid of that he’s justifying his treachery every minute? He can be easily exposed but why stoop to his level.
