A 21 year old aspirant taken ill after participating in the race for the constable general duty post in Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), later died in district hospital in Jabalpur on Saturday, the police said.
Prabhu Dayal (21) was taken ill after participating in the race for the general duty category post in Indo-Tibetan Border Police, later died in the district hospital, Gaur police chowki incharge Tekchand Sharma said.
After preliminary examination by the ITBP doctor, the aspirant was referred to the district hospital, he said.
The race was held around 7.30 am on Saturday morning in the ITBP campus at Jamtara outskirts of the city, he said.
Tribhu was resident of village Amgaon in Balaghat district, he said.
The physical test is going on in the ITBP campus in Jabalpur since Monday, he said.
