Indian Army colonel allegedly committed suicide by hanging in the room of officers mess of 1STC at Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh on Sunday night.
Colonel Nishith Khanna (43) posted as Commanding Officer of ITTR was found hanging with a bedsheet from a ceiling fan in a room of the officers’ mess, according to the police.
Khanna was having some family dispute and was staying at the Officers Mess since October 2022 away from the family residing in the Officers colony in Jabalpur.
Last week a Captain committed suicide at the Pachmarhi-based Army Educational Corps Training College and Centre in Narmadapuram district.
