Andhra Pradesh schools will reopen for the current academic year on Monday, after being closed since March due to a spike in Covid-19 cases in the state. Authorities gradually reopened schools following the first wave of the coronavirus pandemic. Classes 9 and 10 began in November of last year, and students for the other classes were allowed to enrol a few months later in January and February.
Following a meeting with chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on July 23, the decision to reopen schools was made. According to news agency PTI, Education Minister Adimoolapu Suresh has stated that the reopening of Andhra Pradesh schools on Monday will be celebrated as a festival with a variety of events.
According to the state health bulletin, there were 1,506 new Covid-19 cases and 16 new deaths in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday. The state’s total Covid-19 tally now stands at 19,93,697, with total recoveries at 19,62,185 and a death toll of 13,647, according to the bulletin.
Here are the guidelines for the reopening of schools in Andhra Pradesh:

2.Educational institutions must also follow guidelines such as maintaining social distance and regularly sanitising classrooms for the students’ safety and well-being.
3.Students who will resume physical education classes are expected to follow rules such as wearing masks, maintaining social distance, and using hand sanitizer, among other things.
