Chief Minister Chouhan said that ambitious projects like Narmada Pragati Path, Vindhya Pragati Path, Malwa Vikas Path, Madhya Vikas Path and Bundelkhand Vikas Path will boost the profile of Madhya Pradesh to new heights in future.
The state government has decided to sanction Rs 3,000 crore for renovation and maintenance of city roads from the current financial year under the Kayakalp Abhiyan (rejuvenation campaign). Today Madhya Pradesh has become an economy of thirteen and a half lakh crores, he said.
The expenditure of more than 56 thousand crores on new development works and important schemes are working to change the fate of the state. CM Chouhan said that Petro Chemicals Complex will be built under the expansion of Bina Refinery. After improving the state’s power supply, construction of the world’s largest floating solar power plant at Omkareshwar and making Sanchi a solar city will brighten the future of Madhya Pradesh, he said.
The Ken-Betwa link project works Rs 44 thousand 605 crore has been approved in the state. Additional irrigation capacity of 33 lakh hectare will be developed through 486 irrigation projects in the state.
