New-Delhi. Meanwhile, the Reserve Bank of India has clarified that all the 14 types of coins issued from them are legitimate between the real counterfeit coins of rupees ten. RBI has asked all the banks to issue instructions to their branches to accept them.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Reserve Bank said that the central bank has been informed that traders and people are reluctant to accept coins of ten rupees. There is a lot of confusion about the real counterfeit in such coins. The Reserve Bank has said that so far 14 types of coins of Rs. 10 rupees have been fired and issued from government mints. These are all based on a variety of themes. All these coins with 14 types of designs are legally valid.
The Reserve Bank had earlier requested the public to accept coins of ten rupees in a statement on November 20, 2016. The Reserve Bank had also said that all kinds of coins of ten rupees can be accepted freely. All types of coins have their own specialty and they have been given special design.
