Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said a new startup policy is coming soon in the state.
The youth of Indore have taken interest in the field of startups, he said. About 600 companies are working in Indore, he said.
The state government will provide all possible support to the youth for startups, he said.
Chouhan said an amount ranging between Rs 1 lakh and Rs 50 lakh would be provided to the youth for starting industrial units under Mukhya Mantri Udyam Kranti Yojna in Madhya Pradesh.
The state government will arrange tuition fee of students taking up courses in higher education under Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana.
Students should get a livelihood according to their talent, and lack of funds will not be a hindrance in the studies, he said.
He was addressing the students of Bansal Institute students and distributed placement letters to them.
He greeted the students selected on an annual package of Rs 5 lakhs to Rs 42 lakhs in various institutions.
About two thousand students of the institute have got employment in various fields, was informed by the institute to the function.
He said rapid development is going on in the state in every sector.
The growth rate of the state is 19.7 percent, which is more than other states.
Similarly, the contribution of Madhya Pradesh in the country’s GDP has increased from 3.6 percent to 4.6 percent, he said.
He reiterated the state government has got 21000 acres of land freed from mafia in the last two years. There is no place for miscreants in the state, their actions are unforgivable.
He said a campaign has been launched to run bulldozers on the houses of miscreants and anti-social elements.
The students of institute staged a play based on theme on how the pandemic was controlled with the cooperation and awareness of the citizens, doctors, paramedical staff and police personnel.
