Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Holi post arrived late Monday night, as is customary. In an Instagram post, the 47-year-old actress posted glimpses of the Bachchans’ Holi celebrations. Aishwarya shared pictures of the Holika Dahan ceremony, which involves lighting a pyre to symbolize the death of evil, as well as a, peek of the Bachchan residence Jalsa.
Just Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s daughter Aaradhya appears in the actress’ Holi album, and there is a brief glance of what appears to be a research room leading into the garden in the background. As Aaradhya poses in the courtyard, the high walls surrounding the Bachchan residence are decorated with roses.
“Happiness, peace, good health, and lots of love always. Happy Holi,” wrote Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Abhishek Bachchan tweeted a quick but important message on Holi earlier this week: “Wishing you all a very happy and safe Holi,” he wrote for his followers.
Amitabh Bachchan posted a priceless throwback from the family archives when celebrating Holi on social media. Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan can be seen interacting with colors in a Holi memory that seems to be from years back. “Rang barse bheege chunar wali rang barse… Holi hai,” Big B captioned it correctly. Rang Barse is a popular Holi song from Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya’s 1981 film Silsila.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan will reunite on the big screen for Anurag Kashyap’s Gulab Jamun. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will star in Mani Ratnam’s upcoming film Ponniyin Selvan. Apart from Gulab Jamun, Abhishek Bachchan will next be seen in the Disney+Hotstar film The Big Bull. His filmography also includes a film based on Bob Biswas, which Shah Rukh Khan is making.
