Attempts to bridge the gap between the Supreme Court Chief Justice Deepak Mishra and his four judges have risen. On Saturday, various steps were taken to resolve this in different meetings of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) and Bar Council of India (BCI). SCBA president Vikas Singh said that in the resolution passed in his meeting, it was decided that the issues raised by the four judges are serious and should be resolved immediately by the bar.
The second proposal states that PIL should deal only with Chief Justice or it should be sent to the Collegium of five judges. Even in the case of PIL listed for January 15, it should be followed. It is important to maintain the reliability of the top court.
Singh said that to solve the issues, the first meeting of the SCBA will be with the Chief Justice. If they agree with the perspective of the agreed bar then the other judges will also be taken to the meeting. Bar believes that the full bench of the Supreme Court should consider the issues raised by the judges.
The BCI team of seven members is formed
On the issue, Bar Council of India also decided to constitute a seven-member delegation to mediate between the two sides in this meeting. This delegation will meet chief justice and honorable judges on Sunday. BCI chairman Manan Kumar Mishra said that we want to get the solution as soon as possible.
We gave a chance to Rahul Gandhi
We have given Rahul Gandhi and political parties an opportunity to talk about the judiciary. It’s really very unfortunate. Criticizing the politicization of this issue, he said, “On behalf of the Bar Council, we request all political parties that they will exercise restraint in the future.
We do not want the image of the judiciary to smudge. People have a firm belief in the judiciary. “Mishra said that we welcome the government’s stance in which it has said that this is an internal issue of judiciary.
MOP to be finalized soon
As far as the memorandum of processor is concerned, it should be finalized in the proper manner as soon as possible. We will also send a letter to the central government in this regard, but it is not such a big issue that should be made public. The BCI said that the judges should not have a press conference from Chief Justice on their differences.
Judge said, we broke no discipline
In the four judges who were rebelling against the Chief Justice, Justice Kurien Joseph expressed confidence that the issues raised by him will be resolved. We have done this work only to increase public trust in the judiciary.
Dismissing the allegations of breaking discipline, he expressed hope that after his decision to make the differences public with the Chief Justice, there would be greater transparency in the administration of the Supreme Court. Justice Joseph, who reached his native village near Kochi, Kerala after the Friday’s explosive press conference, was answering questions from media personnel.
No external intervention
Justice Joseph said that there is no need for external intervention in this case. The Supreme Court itself will solve it. We did not go to the President about this matter because he has no constitutional responsibility in this regard.
No crisis
Justice Ranjan Gogoi said that there is no crisis due to issues raised by him. When Justice Gogoi arrived in Kolkata to attend the state legal services meeting in eastern region, it was asked if those people have violated discipline, they did not respond to it and said that they had to catch the Lucknow flight. So they can not talk about
