On Thursday, Senior BJP leader Babulal Gaur opened up about a proposal he got from Member of Parliament also the General Secretary of Indian National Congress (INC), Digvijaya Singh, to join Congress and contest Lok Sabha polls from Bhopal.
Gaur said, “He (Digvijaya Singh) visited me on December 18 and offered me to contest polls from Bhopal Lok Sabha seat on Congress ticket. I told him I will think about it.”
As per the sources, Election Commission of India (ECI) might soon announce dates for the upcoming General Elections within first week of March.
