Army Chief General Bipin Rawat said in Delhi today that despite all the efforts, the number of terrorists and terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir has not come down. He said that the situation which had worsened after Burhan Wani had worsened even more in South Kashmir. When insurances happen in the built up area, it is very difficult. Our Human Rights record is very good, if the terrorist is hidden in a house then he is nervous, due to which he fires and becomes our casualty.
He said that we have also caught 39 terrorists alive. We give them full time, and contact them , but I can say that terrorism has not ended in Kashmir. This time our focus will be towards North Kashmir. Our intensive operation will focus on North Kashmir, Baramulla, Hondwara, Bandipur, Pattan.
General Rawat said that Pakistan will continue to send terrorists continuously, the more you waste your energy to kill, then they will send it again. That’s why we decided to target those posts from the Pakistani army from where terrorists are getting help. Our motive is to ruin Pakistani posts so that they feel the pain. Therefore, what Casualty Pakistan has taken is three or four times more than us.
With this, the Army Chief has also conveyed strong message to China that China will be a strong country, but India is not weak in any case. Anyone who tries to move on the soil of India will have to face the Indian Army. Rawat said about America’s warnings given to Pakistan about dealing with terrorism that India will have to wait and see its effect. He said that terrorists are the only ‘use and throw’ material in Pakistan.
