Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is steadily advancing on the path of development and progress, all while honoring its rich traditions.
This commitment is reflected in the state government’s organization of Shastra-Pujan on Dussehra and Govardhan Puja after Diwali, as well as the showcasing of traditional Mallakhamba art on the state’s Foundation Day.

Dr. Yadav expressed pride in the Prime Minister’s support for Madhya Pradesh, noting that the state has received the most gifts by PM Shri Modi on Dhanvantari Jayanti. Among these is the inauguration of three government medical colleges in Mandsaur, Neemuch and Seoni, dedicated by the Prime Minister.
Health services in Madhya Pradesh are entering a new era, with over 20 medical colleges, enhanced testing and treatment facilities in district hospitals and a growing number of medical and paramedical staff.
The establishment of Arogya Mandirs and Ayurveda hospitals is also strengthening public healthcare across the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav shared these insights while addressing the people from Lal Parade Ground on Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day.
Tours the exhibition focused on military and war equipment
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day celebrations with flag hoisting. The event commenced with the National Anthem and the Madhya Pradesh Anthem. Dr. Yadav also toured an Army exhibition showcasing military and war equipment.
Adding to the atmosphere, the Army Band performed a series of melodious tunes in front of Chief Minister.
A demonstration of Mallakhamba, the state sport, captivated the audience. The cultural program began with a Kathak performance of Ganesh Vandana, followed by patriotic melodies by the Military Band of 3 EME Centre, Bhopal, which infused the gathering with enthusiasm, pride, and energy.
Madhya Pradesh handed over the invaluable heritage of literature and music to the world
While extending greetings to the people of the state on Foundation Day, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed that it is a matter of great fortune to celebrate the 69th Rajyotsav of Madhya Pradesh during the auspicious period of Deepotsav. He highlighted that the five regions—Bundelkhand, Baghelkhand, Nimar, Malwa, and Mahakaushal—have bestowed a “Panchamrit” of unforgettable history, remarkable art, unique culture, distinct traditions, and immense strength to the state. Nestled between the Vindhyachal and Satpura ranges, Madhya Pradesh is a confluence of religion, spirituality, and knowledge, offering an invaluable heritage of literature and music to the world. The state’s foundation lies in its rich folk culture and tribal diversity. This sacred land has witnessed Lord Shri Ram’s exile, Lord Shri Krishna’s education, and the valor and creativity of Emperor Vikramaditya.
Madhya Pradesh has many achievements to its credit
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh has made many achievements. It is known as the food basket of the country, soyabean state, diamond state, power state, home of tribes, tiger state and cheetah state.
Indore and Bhopal have set records in the field of cleanliness. Due to the strength of the farmer brothers, the state has won the Karman Award for agriculture 7 times. The state’s Sharbati wheat, soyabean and Chinnor rice are unmatched. The state is also a leader in the production of natural medicine and Sri Anna.
Indian Army proved its efficiency on every front
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that India is the only country in the world which has always played a positive role for humanity. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the three armedforces have proved their efficiency by performing exceptionally and have boosted the prestige of India and protected the country’s borders. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is progressing in all directions by practising the principle of “Live and let live”. The double engine government of the Centre and the state is also committed to make the life of every resident of the state prosperous.
