Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav followed the Sanatan tradition of Kanya-Pujan and Kanya-Bhoj at CM’s residence on Mahanavami of Sharadiya Navratri.
Showing his immense reverence towards Matri-Shakti, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav today washed the feet of nine Durga Swaroopa virgin girls and performed rituals to honour them.
He reverently draped a chunari on the girls and performed aarti. During the worship, CM Dr. Yadav also interacted with the girls and showered affection on them.
After Kanya-Pujan, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav served meal to the girls with his own hands and also offered them sweets as per their taste. After Kanya Bhoj, CM Dr. Yadav gave Dakshina and gifts to all the girls and received their blessings.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav worshipped Mokshadayini Maa Siddhidatri and extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on Mahanavami of Sharadiya Navratri.
He also prayed to Mata Rani for an auspicious and happy life for everyone along with the infinite blessings of Sankalp Siddhi.
