Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav while congratulating Prime Minister Narendra Modi, said that proactive steps are being taken to foster forest development.

He assured that all necessary support will be provided to forest residents, who coexist harmoniously with nature, including the right to sell forest produce locally.

The PESA Act is being actively implemented across the state to support these initiatives.

Dr. Yadav emphasized the state government’s dedication to forest development, announcing the inauguration and ceremonial launch of projects valued at over Rs. 57 crore.

Under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, comprehensive development for forest area residents is underway, with specific provisions to enable forest village residents to sell forest produce locally. Dr. Yadav made these remarks while addressing the training and awareness conference for Joint Forest Management Committees in Veerpur, Sheopur, where forest rights leases were also distributed.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Regional Industry Conclaves will be held regularly to boost industrial development across the state, as these events have proven beneficial.

He emphasized the government’s responsibility to create employment opportunities for youth and pledged full support for their growth in sectors like Agriculture and IT.

Dr. Yadav reiterated the government’s commitment to support farmers and the underprivileged, with special benefits directed toward the tribal community.

Veerpurwill soon have a college, upgradation of Community Health Center and local hospital. He also affirmed the government’s dedication to developing forest areas, recognizing the forest communities who embody a “live and let live” philosophy, maintaining harmony with nature.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav affirmed the government’s steadfast commitment to supporting the people in all areas of development, standing alongside the poor, farmers, women, and even the most remote villagers.

Health services have been significantly expanded, with air ambulances now transporting patients from villages to major hospitals in cities.

If required, provisions will also be made to send patients to Agra and Delhi for advanced care. These air ambulances will be equipped with doctors, nurses, essential medical equipment, and life-saving medications.

Dr. Yadav emphasized that this government is dedicated to the welfare of the poor, ensuring their health and wellbeing are prioritized.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that, in addition to promoting employment opportunities across various sectors, grants will be provided to villagers to boost milk production and support animal husbandry at the rural level.

Similar to incentives on wheat and soybean, a bonus will also be offered for milk production. Dr. Yadav instructed Collector Sheopur to expedite the preparation and distribution of tribal certificates.

He emphasized the need to establish new residential areas within villages to accommodate population growth according to local needs and convenience.

Construction of Bridge Over Chambal River

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav assured that every effort will be made to advance regional development in Veerpur.

A Pentul bridge is set to be constructed over the Chambal River, connecting Nandi village to Gavghat in Veerpur.

This bridge will greatly enhance transportation access to Karauli Mata in Rajasthan and Sawai-Madhopur.

School Bags Distributed to Children of Forest Committee Members

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the program with a Kanya-Pujan ceremony. To promote education, he distributed school bags to 13,700 children of forest committee members, an initiative funded with Rs 80 lakh.

Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar stated that, under Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s leadership, the state is steadily advancing along the path of progress, with the goal of making Sheopur a leading district in the near future. Khajuraho MP V.D. Sharma emphasized that continuous efforts are being made under Dr. Yadav’s leadership to deliver essential services to the underprivileged. The government remains committed to driving economic and social transformation through public welfare schemes.

Minister of New and Renewable Energy and in-charge of Sheopur district, Shri Rakesh Shukla, stated that the district is consistently benefiting from government development initiatives.

He expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, noting that, under his leadership, the district is steadily progressing along the path of development.

Forest and Environment Minister Ramniwas Rawat also conveyed his appreciation for the organization of the awareness conference for Joint Forest Management Committees and thanked the Chief Minister.

He emphasized that the state government remains dedicated to continuous development efforts.

Bhoomi-Pujan and Dedication

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav dedicated and performed Bhoomi Pujan for development projects valued at Rs 57.42 crore. This included the dedication of development works worth Rs 18.94 crore and the Bhoomi Pujan and foundation stone laying for projects totaling Rs 38.48 crore.

Among these are the construction of multipurpose centers in six villages of Sheopur block under the PM Jan-Man scheme, with a cost of Rs 3.60 crore, and similar centers in 18 villages of Vijaypur and Karahal block areas at a cost of Rs 10.80 crore.

Additionally, the upgrading of the 30-bed Community Health Center in Vijaypur tehsil to a 100-bed Civil Hospital, with a construction cost of Rs 24.08 crore, is included in these projects.
