Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will dedicate the country’s first “Craft Handloom Tourism Village” at Pranpur in Ashoknagar on March 6 at 3 pm.
On the initiative of MP Tourism Board, “Craft Handloom Tourism Village” has been developed by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India and MP Government at a cost of Rs. 7 crore 45 lakh in Pranpur-Chanderi, Ashok Nagar
Union Civil Aviation and Steel Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, Union Minister of State for Textiles and Union Minister of State for Railways Darshana Jardosh and Minister of State for Culture, Tourism, Religious Trusts and Endowments (Independent Charge) Dharmendra Singh Lodhi and other public representatives will be present in the inauguration ceremony.
Principal Secretary Tourism and Culture and Managing Director Tourism Board Sheo Shekhar Shukla has said that under the guidance of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the Tourism Department is enhancing the quality of handicraft products, making the products market-oriented, skill development of artisans, training in advanced technology, modern distribution and marketing support of products is being provided.
