Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the PMShri Air Ambulance Service at the Ujjain Police Line Air Strip on Saturday.

This service will significantly reduce the time taken to transport emergency patients to other treatment facilities.

Dr. Yadav emphasized the crucial role the air ambulance service will play in saving patients’ lives.

At present one 4 seater plane and one 3 seater helicopter have been made available for PMShri Air Ambulance Service.

A helicopter used for emergency service can land at any place. One stretcher and one seat each will be available in the helicopter for doctors and paramedical staff.

Similarly, 4 seats with stretchers will be available in the plane.

Life saving equipment to be made available in helicopters and planes

For the air ambulance service, the family members of the emergency patient can contact the Chief Medical and Health Officer of their district.

The Chief Medical Officer will then inform the state-level nodal officer, who will promptly dispatch an air ambulance to the specified location.

Planes and helicopters available for air ambulance service will be stationed at Bhopal Airport.

On receiving information from anywhere, the flight will leave for the concerned place from Bhopal. MLA Anil Jain Kaluhera, Satish Malviya, Om Jain, Bahadur Singh Bormundla, Sanjay Aggarwal, Commissioner Ujjain Dr. Sanjay Goyal, Collector Neeraj Kumar Singh and other public representatives and Dr. Rahul Singh Sardar and Dr. Shalini Nalwad associated with air ambulance service at Ujjain airstrip were also present.
