Husband made his 35 year old wife die of suffocation after he allegedly put strong Adhesive in her mouth, nose and eye in Madhya Pradesh.
The incident took place at their residence in Rajput Colony in Vidisha’s Madhya Pradesh
police said.
Before committing the crime, the accused asked his two sons to go outside the house and used the glue to kill his wife, he added.
The incident came to light when one of their minor sons returned home in the evening and found his mother lying motionless, the inspector said.
“The 15-year-old boy lodged a police complaint, following which Halkeram was booked for murder and a search was launched to nab him,” Sharma added.
The boy told the police that his father was a drunkard and often quarrelled with his mother.
He also informed the police that the accused had even tried to poison his mother in the past.
Police said that the accused murdered his wife over suspicion of her illicit relations with some other man.
Since then his wife refused to have any physical relations with him and developed relations with some other man. The accused murdered her over suspicions of illicit relations and denying for having physical relations with him.
“Upon interrogating, the accused confessed to have committed the crime. He disclosed that he murdered his wife as she developed relationships with other men and denied having any relation with him as he was suffering from mouth cancer. We have also recovered the knife that was used in the crime from the possession of the accused,” police said
