As part of the preparations for the upcoming assembly elections 2023 in the state, Chief Electoral Officer of Madhya Pradesh Anupam Rajan today inaugurated the training program for police officers (state level master trainers) at RCVP Noronha Administration Academy, Bhopal.
Chief Electoral Officer Rajan, while addressing the police officers, said that till now more than 65 thousand officers of the police department have been trained to conduct free and fair elections. Every election is a new election with new circumstances and new challenges. Training helps in conducting election work in a better way.
Additional Director General of Police Training Anuradha Shankar also addressed the training programme.
In the training program, Chief Electoral Officer, West Bengal, Ariz Oftab and Chief Electoral Officer, Tamil Nadu, Thiru Satyavrat Sahu gave detailed training to the police officers (State Level Master Trainers) on various election related topics including law and order, election expenditure monitoring, vulnerability mapping.
In the training, Additional Director General of Police and State Nodal Officer for Election Expenditure Monitoring Yogesh Deshmukh, Joint Chief Electoral Officer Rakesh Singh, Inspector General of Police and Nodal Officer CRPF Pawan Sharma including Assistant Inspector General of Police, Superintendent of Police, Additional Superintendent of Police level of the police department were included in the training. Officers were present.
