Madhya Pradesh Minister for Revenue and Transport said the Bharatiya Janata Party has waived full electricity bill against Congress announced to waive half of it.
He was addressing a felicitation ceremony of Scheduled Caste community of Bilhara and Surkhi Mandla held at Qila Kothi on Friday.
He said work has been done, will work, will respect each person.
I and my entire family have never done caste politics. All societies are equal for us, he said.
The sole purpose of calling you here was to meet and talk to you. This is not a political program, but a family get-together of Surkhi Assembly, Rajput said.
In which I had to respect you. Elections keep happening. My heart belongs to all of you. I left no stone unturned regarding development works in the entire Surkhi Assembly, he said.
My only aim is that I have worked, will work and will respect everyone, Revenue and Transport Minister Govind Singh Rajput said this during the meeting with the Scheduled Caste communities.
Addressing the felicitation ceremony organized at Qila Kothi Royal Palace Hotel on Friday, Revenue and Transport Minister Govind Singh Rajput said that Congress only makes false promises.
On the lines of Ladli Behna Yojana started by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, they too had started filling fake forms, he said.
Similarly, Congressmen are now promising that if the government comes, the electricity bills will be halved, whereas the BJP government has already waived off the electricity bills.
Revenue and Transport Minister Govind Singh Rajput said that during Indira Gandhi’s time, Congressmen used to say that they will eat half the bread, and win Indira Gandhi. Whereas today’s people are saying that they will eat full and bring back Modi.
Today the needy are getting food grains at Re 1 per kg. Minister Rajput said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream is that everyone should have their own house, Rajput said.
A cottage is being sanctioned for this. Those whose names have been left out, do not worry, they can now apply in Panchayats under Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Awas Yojana, he said.
These applications will be submitted from 17th September to 5th October. This is happening for the first time that a Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh is gifting a house to the sisters, Rajput said.
District Panchayat President Heera Singh Rajput, while saluting the elders, said that this is a society whose saint Shri Ravidas Maharaj has worked to unite all the societies under social harmony.

He said that Prime Minister Modi gave what the Congress could never give to the poor. When we were in Congress, we thought that if Congress government is formed then we will able to provide welfare to the poor, but we could not make even a single poverty line card.
The old age pension benefit was not provided , but as soon as joined BJP, he provided housing benefit to 18 thousand people. We had never imagined that a government would come which would provide free food, clothing and housing. All this is happening under the Bharatiya Janata Party government, he said.
Municipal Corporation President Vrindavan Ahirwar said that Minister Govind Singh Rajput and his entire family work for the upliftment and cooperation of all the societies of Surkhi Assembly. Be it happiness or sorrow, one or the other member of their family stands with you. We should not forget such a family. We all have to fully support them in the elections. He said that elections are about to come, now many people will come to you to mislead you, but you should also ask them questions as to where were the 4.5 years. Whereas Govind Bhaiya and his entire family stood with you all the time.
Addressing the felicitation ceremony, BJP leader Santosh Rohit said that there is a sense of respect, which is being given by the Rajput family. If this feeling was not there then you too would not have been present in such large numbers. Now it is the turn of all of us to make Govind Bhaiya victorious by 51 thousand votes. We all have to support them with this resolution. Bharatiya Janata Party has done a lot for everyone, so now it is the turn of all of us to cooperate. During this, he also gave a pledge to the people of the society to achieve victory by 51 thousand votes.
Former MLA Sona Bai Ahirwar said that many of my relatives reside in Sagar. My maternal home is here, my in-laws’ house is in Patharia. Therefore, I am the daughter of this place first. When in 2003 I was an MLA from another party and Govind Bhaiya was from another party. Even at that time Govind Bhaiya fully supported me. They do not believe in caste politics, but take all societies along. He said that the Congress government has taken away the rights of the poor. Many schemes were meant for the upliftment of the poor, which were closed. Now the time has come to answer such people. During the program, a large number of people including Kashiram Ahirwar, Devendra Pardeshi, Mohanlal Ahirwar, Hiralal Painter, Scheduled Caste Morcha District President Narendra Ahirwar, Bilhara of Surkhi Assembly and community members and heads of Surkhi Mandal were present.
