Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will inaugurate the work of getting the forms filled by the beneficiaries under the Mukhyamantri Krishak Mitra Yojana at Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Centre on September 20 at 9:30 am.

Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar has said that Mukhyamantri Krishak Mitra Yojana has been launched to provide permanent agricultural pump connections to the farmers.

Minister Tomar has said that the scheme includes extension of 11 KV line up to 200 meters distance for permanent pump connection of 3 HP or more, installation of distribution transformer and low pressure line cable extension work. The expansion work including all the material under the scheme and its maintenance will be undertaken by the power distribution company. 50 percent of the expenditure of this work will be borne by the government and 50 percent by the farmer or farmer group. A target has been set for 10 thousand pumps in the first year of the scheme. The scheme will remain effective for 2 years.
