Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said that a new era of development has started in India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The country is continuously progressing in Amrit Kaal. With better implementation of the development schemes run by the double engine government of the Center and the State, Madhya Pradesh has evolved from sick to a developed state. Union Home Minister Shah was addressing the huge public meeting organised at Sheopur district headquarters virtually from Gwalior airport. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia also addressed the public meeting virtually.
Union Home Minister Shah and Chief Minister Chouhan addressed the public meeting of Sheopur virtually from the Gwalior airport complex on Tuesday afternoon when the helicopter could not reach Sheopur due to heavy rain in Gwalior.
In the programme organised in Sheopur, Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, State Minister of State Suresh Dhakad, MP K.P. Yadav and Sandhya Rai along with other public representatives and a large number of distinguished citizens were present.
Home Minister Amit Shah said that earlier Madhya Pradesh was counted in the category of Bimaru states. After the year 2003, several huge developments have taken place in the state. Amazing works of public welfare are conducted in Madhya Pradesh under the leadership of Chief Minister Chouhan. Madhya Pradesh is writing a new chapter of development. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Chouhan, the state government has made adequate availability of electricity and water for agriculture to the farmers, apart from better facilities for food grains and treatment to the poor. The central and state governments are working for the welfare of every section in the society, due to which the state and the country are progressing by leaps and bounds.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that farmers are worried due to less rainfall in Madhya Pradesh. I want to assure them that farmers should not worry about anything. The state government stands with the farmers. If crops have been damaged due to less rainfall, the government will help farmers overcome this crisis. Due to the development-oriented schemes of the Central and State Government, new dimensions of development are being established in Sheopur. A network of roads has been laid in Sheopur district. Besides, huge irrigation projects have been implemented in the district. A medical college is also being established in Sheopur district.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that he will leave no stone unturned in the development of Madhya Pradesh. The Ladli Bahna Yojana implemented in the state for the women empowerment is transforming the lives of sisters.
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, better implementation of numerous public welfare schemes is also being carried out in Madhya Pradesh.
Holy Triveni Sangam will be developed as a pilgrimage site
Chief Minister Chouhan announced that the holy Rameshwar Triveni Sangam located in Sheopur district will be developed as a pilgrimage site. Funds will be sanctioned for this soon.
Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar had requested Chief Minister Chouhan over telephone to develop Rameshwar Triveni Sangam as a pilgrimage site, which he happily accepted.
Government has developed Sheopur area with determination: Union Minister Shri Tomar
In the meeting held in Sheopur, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said that it is a matter of happiness for all of us that approval has been given to lay the railway line from Sheopur to Kota. This will provide better transportation facilities in the area and open new doors for development. He expressed his gratitude to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav for approving the railway line. Tomar said that the Madhya Pradesh government has left no stone unturned in the development of Sheopur. Along with the medical college and many irrigation schemes in Sheopur along with working for every section of the society including farmers and women.
Unprecedented development works have been carried out in the state – Union Minister Shri Scindia
Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said that unprecedented development works are being carried out in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in the state. After 2003, better work has been done in the direction of improving roads in Madhya Pradesh. Where there were 44 thousand kilometers of roads in the year 2003, now a network of 5 lakh kilometers of roads has been laid. Exemplary work has also been done in the direction of power generation. Ladli Bahna Yojana implemented in Madhya Pradesh for women empowerment is being appreciated in the entire country. The double engine government is working rapidly in the field of development and public welfare.
Sheopur railway station will be modernised – Railway Minister Vaishnav
Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that a railway line will be laid from Sheopur to Kota. Simultaneously, the railway station of Sheopur will be modernised. The Central government will not allow any shortage of funds for this.
