The Madhya Pradesh police arrested two persons and seized over 19 quintals of ganja from a truck hidden under the Nilgiri wooden logs in Jabalpur district.
Two persons namely Mahesh Nishad and Mohammad Shakeel were arrested with the truck and ganja was seized, the police said.
The police got input about the truck carrying ganja hidden under the wooden logs and was going to Haryana from Odisha, the police said.
During checking of vehicles, the driver of the truck attempted to flee from the spot but was chased and got hold, the police said.
When the truck was searched ganga with bulk quantity was found, the police said.
The cash reward of Rs.30,000 is announced for the team of Tilwara police station for the seizure.
