Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan will perform bhoomi-pujan of the building of CM Rise Government Mahatma Gandhi Higher Secondary School to be built at a cost of Rs 81 crore 12 lakh at Bhel (Barkheda) in Bhopal on August 17. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan will also transfer the amount with a single click to the bank account of the students for purchasing cycles. This amount will be transferred to about 4 lakh 50 thousand students of the state this year for purchasing cycles for the students under the free cycle distribution scheme. For this, KYC of the bank accounts of the beneficiary students has been done.

Principal Secretary School Education Smt. Rashmi Arun Shami informed that the cycle distribution scheme is operational from the year 2004-05. In this scheme, such students, who are studying in class 6th and 9th in government schools and the village of which they are residents, government secondary/high school is not operated in that village and they go to government school of any other village/city for study. are benefited by free cycles. This year, the amount will be transferred to the accounts of about 4 lakh 50 thousand students for purchase of cycles.

Parents and students including Minister of State for School Education (Independent Charge) and General Administration Mr. Inder Singh Parmar, MLA Mrs. Krishna Gaur and departmental officers will be present in the programme.
