While congratulating the citizens on the 77th Independence Day, Chief Minister Chouhan said that today is the day to unite India in one thread. It is a day to glorify the sacrifice of the martyrs.
This is the day of smiles for 140 crore Indians. The history of India is not limited to 76 years, but can be traced back to ancient ages. When there were no civilization in the world, educational institution like Nalanda and Takshashila were operating in India, he said.
The land of India proclaimed Satyamev Jayate. India has always believed in the principle of live and let live. The spirit of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ and the welfare of the whole world have been in the philosophy of India. The soul of India never died while wishing for everyone’s health and happiness, he said.
The country became a victim of slavery due to external invasions. Henceforth the freedom struggle commenced and Nana Saheb Peshwa, Mangal Pandey, Rani Laxmi Bai of Jhansi to Vasudev Phadke, Rasbihari Bose, Lal-Bal-Pal famously known as Lala Lajpat Rai, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Vipinchandra Pal along with Madan Mohan Malviya and Mahatma Gandhi, sacrificed for the country. Many revolutionaries like Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad, Subhash Chandra Bose, Veer Savarkar suffered severe punishments but the revolutionaries did not tremble while climbing the gallows. Ashfaq Ullah Khan, Sukhdev, Udham Singh and many revolutionaries sacrificed their lives with the proclamation of Bharat Mata, he said.
India got freedom due to such efforts. Simultaneously, the horrors of the partition of the country cannot be forgotten. The nation was divided into pieces. The army was fighting for the freedom of Kashmir. But with ceasefire provisions like Article 370 brought forth the matter of two constitutions, two marks and two heads. Prime Minister Shri Modi have done many historic deeds in the last 9 years to build a glorious, splendid and prosperous India. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that former Prime Minister Late Atal ji had also said that India is not just a piece of land. India is a living proud nation. This is the land of warriors and sages. We have to live and die for the nation. After the cremation, our ashes will also flow in the Ganges, even then the sound of Bharat Mata Ki Jai will be heard.

The world is also looking towards India and is learning. With the ideology of everyone’s support, everyone’s development, everyone’s effort and everyone’s trust it is the mission of the Government of Madhya Pradesh to transform the lives of the people. We are all familiar with the Prime Minister’s efforts in providing the vaccine against Covid to 140 crore people of the country along with 100 countries other of the world. Today our borders are secure. India’s ideology is, we will not tease anyone, but if someone teases us, we will not spare them.
