Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said to ensure better preparations for the grand Tiranga Yatra to be held in Bhopal on the occasion of Independence Day on August 14. Tiranga Yatra should be given a systematic form by co-ordinating with public representatives.
Tiranga Yatra, starting from Vilinikaran Shaheed Smriti Dwar, will culminate at Curfew Wali Mata Mandir. There will be a grand programme at Curfew Wali Mata Mandir at 4 pm.
CM Chouhan was reviewing the preparations for the Tiranga Yatra at the residence office Samatva Bhavan. Director General of Police Sudhir Kumar Saxena, Additional Chief Secretary General Administration Vinod Kumar, Principal Secretary Culture and Tourism Sheo Shekhar Shukla, Collector Bhopal Ashish Singh and other officers were present in the meeting.
Chief Minister Chouhan will light the Mashaal (torch) during flag salutation in the programme of Tiranga Yatra. He will worship Bharat Mata as well. The venue will be decked up with flowers, balloons and clothes on the tricolour theme.
On both sides of the route of the Tiranga Yatra, tricolour flags will be hoisted on residences and establishments. Tableaux will be displayed in decorated vehicles during the yatra. Members of Ladli Bahna Sena, Ladli Bahnas, students, business organisations and a large number of common people will be present at the programme venue.
