The Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan reached the memorial site of Saint Shiromani Guru Dev Shri Ravidas Ji in Badatuma, Sagar, today and honored saints with shawls, shreefal and Safa. The Union Social Justice Minister Dr. Veerendra Kumar and Forest Minister Dr. Kunwar Vijay Shah were present.
The Chief Minister inspected the foundation stone-laying site, observed the temple’s model. A temple, art gallery, and memorial will be constructed on an 11-acre land at a cost of 100 crore rupees. it may be recalled that the Chief Minister had announced the construction of a grand temple here in February.
The Chief Minister showered flowers on over 200 saints, presented shawls, safa, and shreefal, and sought their blessings. Saints of the Ravidas tradition expressed gratitude for C.M.’s gesture.
