Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today visited Indori Paan Bhandar at Madhavganj railway station in Vidisha.Near the shop Durgabai Vanshkar of Luhangi Mohalla was repairing umberalla.
Chief Minister Chouhan immediately reached Durgabai on seeing this. The Chief Minister inquired about her condition. Durgabai Vanshkar narrated her pain of earning hear livelihood to the Chief Minister. Chouhan instructed to give Rs 50,000 as grant-in-aid immediately to Durgabai Vanshkar for employment through voluntary funds.
Following the instructions of the Chief Minister, Collector Umashankar handedover a cheque of Rs.50,000 toher husband Mukesh Vanshkar.
Durgabai told the Chief Minister that she is getting Rs 1000 under Ladli Behna yojana . She said that earlier she was getting a pension of Rs 600, now it has been increased to Rs 1000.
