Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that no one will remain landless and homeless in villages including urban areas of the state. Everyone will get a pucca house. About 23 thousand acres of land has been freed from land mafia in the state, on which pucca houses will be built for the poor. Out of 9 lakh 54 thousand approved houses in the state, 6 lakh 81 thousand houses have been completed.
Interaction with beneficiariesChief Minister Chouhan also interacted with 3 beneficiaries who got the benefit of the housing scheme. These include Smt. Anjali Yadav of Nalkheda in Agar Malwa district, Shri Vishnu Kumar of Dhar and Smt. Lata Bai of Narsinghpur. The Chief Minister inquired from the beneficiaries about the work and business being done by their family members and families. Chief Minister Chouhan was distributing benefits to more than one lakh beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) at Ravindra Bhawan, Bhopal today. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan transferred an amount of Rs 300 crore to the accounts of 30 thousand beneficiaries of the housing scheme with a single click. The Chief Minister performed Griha Praveshof 70,000 beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) and also interacted with the beneficiaries.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that labourers coming from villages and who have settled in cities will soon get food at a subsidized rate of Rs 5 under the Deendayal Rasoi Yojana. Resident associations are playing an active role in the field of cleanliness. They will also be rewarded in the future in the field of cleanliness. Urban bodies will also be further rewarded in the field of public welfare and cleanliness.
There should be competition for first place in cleanliness
Chief Minister Chouhan said that Indore has continuously been declared as the cleanest city of India. Bhopal is the cleanest capital. There is awareness among the citizens about cleanliness and environmental protection. If the residents of Bhopal city want, they can come first in the field of cleanliness in the country. There must be competition for good activitees. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan called urged the citizens of Bhopal along with the citizens of the state and all public representatives to accelerate their efforts in the cleanliness sector and make efforts for the best performance.
Octroi compensation amount of Rs 195 crore 56 lakh released
Chief Minister Couhan said that as soon as the information about the difficulty regarding the amount in the urban bodies was received, an amount of Rs. 195 crore 56 lakh has been released to all the bodies. The Chief Minister said that Madhya Pradesh is first in the Street Vendors Welfare Scheme. Local bodies will not be able to take tax from small shopkeepers.
Best performing bodies in housing scheme awarded
Chief Minister Chouhan rewarded the best performing bodies on the basis of overall progress in the housing scheme. Citations were given to Dewas in Municipal Corporation category, Sanawad and Begumganj in Municipality category and Badarwas, Omkareshwar and Banda in Municipal Council category. Under the special campaign of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban), among the best performing bodies from June 7 to June 30, Dewas was awarded in the Municipal Corporation category, Barwani and Gohad were awarded in the Municipality category and Badarwas, Kukshi and Unhel were awarded in the Municipal Council category. The officers awarded include GS Saluja, JK Jain, Neha Patel, Shri Sonal Sharma, Munis Ahmed Ansari and Inder Leelani.
God is seen in the eyes of the poor
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the earth’s resources like land and water are for all the people, but the share of the poor in these is not sufficient. Hence Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has done the work of providing benefits to the poor through the housing scheme. It is the dream of every person to have a house. The Prime Minister deserves thanks for making this dream come true. Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay also used to say that if you want to see God, serve the poor and wipe away the tears of the poor. You will definitely see God in the eyes of the poor. Janata Janardan Hai. Daridra hi Narayan hai. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh is my temple, its people are God. I am in the role of a priest of this temple. Housing facilities will be provided to the homeless by constructing multi-storeyed buildings in cities as well as villages in the state.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the work of providing free ration to the poor including housing, facility of Ayushman card, cooking gas connection in Ujjwala Yojana, benefits of Ladli Laxmi and Ladli Bahna schemes and providing tuition fees to students for higher education is underway. Under the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana, women are being given not only money but also self-respect.
Residents association awarded
Chief Minister Chouhan while congratulating the award winning resident associations of the colony for cleanliness in Bhopal urban area said that their zeal in the field of cleanliness is commendable. Chief Minister Chouhan congratulated the Urban Development Department for winning more than 10 awards in the housing sector. He also congratulated the civic bodies for their excellent work in the cleanliness sector. Market and residents association were awarded for cleanliness by Chief Minister Shri Chouhan. The Chief Minister also provided compost kits to the citizens. Before the programme, he sought technical information about the process of compost manure and award gallery received in Awas Yojana. Madhya Pradesh has received 10 awards in the housing sector between 2020 and 2023. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan congratulated the Urban Development and Housing Department in this connection.
House allotment certificate distributed
Chief Minister Chouhan distributed permanent house allotment certificates to 5 beneficiaries of Kokta Transport Nagar Bhopal including Smt. Maya Shrivastava, Smt. Lakshmi Rathore, Shri Satish Kumar Dhakade, Smt. Sonam Raikwar and Shri Shubham Manjhi.
Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh said that apart from the Griha Pravesh of 70,000 beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) by Chief Minister Shri Chouhan, an amount of Rs 300 crore is also being transferred to more than 30,000 beneficiaries. Rs 332 crore has been approved for various development works in urban areas in the fourth phase of the Chief Minister’s Urban Infrastructure Development Scheme. The result of the development conducted in Madhya Pradesh is that at present the per capita income is more than Rs one lakh 40 thousand. 1.25 crore people have come above the poverty line in the state. All this is the result of development and poor welfare schemes. Along with including 1.25 crore sisters as Ladli Bahnas, the poor are now being provided food for Rs. 5 per plate. More than 7 lakh street vendors have been benefited under the Street Vendor Scheme. Minister Shri Singh said that the Chief Minister has made a record of plantation in two years. At present, the state is included in the five major states of the country in terms of development. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Chouhan, Madhya Pradesh will be at number-1 in the country in the next 5 years.
