Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the work of electrification of tribal majras-tolas should be undertaken on priority with the funds available with the District Mineral Foundation.
Topmost importance should be given to works related to basic needs and public utility facilities.
Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the state level meeting of the District Mineral Foundation at Mantralaya. Mineral Resources and Labour Minister Brijendra Pratap Singh, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Principal Secretary Mineral Resources Raghvendra Kumar Singh, Secretary Finance Ajit Singh and other officers were present.
Indore’s Nehru Stadium will be made of international standard
Various works of different districts were approved in the meeting. Among these, approval was given to develop a park depicting the glorious history of Maharana Pratap and his associates in Bhopal, construction of Rezangla War Memorial in honour of martyrs and upgradation of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium for indoor and outdoor sports activities in Banjari and construction of mini park focusing on historical personalities in Jagdishpur Bhopal. Other works include making Nehru Stadium in Indore of international standard, construction of rope-way on Janapav hill near Indore, establishment of Ambedkar Dham centred on Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar in Gwalior district and construction of Maa Pitambara Corridor in Datia and expansion of public facilities there.
Smart look will be given to Narmadapuram
Approval was also given to give Narmadapuram a smart look as a religious, spiritual city, renovation of Kol Garhi in Rewa, development of a park named after Raja Bhabuth Singh of Korku community in Piplani village of Sehore district.
Approval was accorded for the construction of government college building at Bargawan in Singrauli district and construction of PG college building at Baidhan.
Approval was also given to works related to community building in various gram panchayats, rain baseras (night-shelters), hostel construction, approach road, culvert, renovation of ponds and other public facilities.
