The third Sawari of Lord Mahakaleshwar was taken out today with much fanfare. Before the Sawari left, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan along with his wife Sadhna Singh worshipped Lord Chandramauleshwar according to the rituals and proceeded the Sawari ahead. The Sawari reached Ramghat via Mahakal Chouraha and Gudri Chouraha, Ramanujkot via Sawari Sabha Mandap.

Shivraj became ShivmayIn the Sawari of Lord Shree Mahakaleshwar, Chief Minister Chouhan was seen drenched in devotion, as if he himself had become Shivmay. He walked barefoot along with his wife Sadhna Singh while chanting Jai Jai Kar to Lord Mahakal on Sawari route. He played Jhanjh-Majiras and performed kirtans with Bhajan Mandlis.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, wife Sadhna Singh reached Ramghat on foot along with participants in the Sawari Marg. The Chief Minister was also seen engrossed in devotion to Shiva along with other devotees on the way. He played Jhanjh with bhajan mandalis and raised slogans of Jai Mahakal. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan greeted a large number of people standing on the route to have a darshan of Baba Mahakal’s palanquin and the city residents living in the houses along the road. At around 5 o’clock Baba Mahakal’s palanquin reached Ramghat where Lord Chandramouleshwara’s Abhishek and worship rituals were performed with the water of Maa Kshipra. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Smt. Sadhna Singh also participated in the worship rituals.

Along with Chief Minister Chouhan, Higher Education Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, MP Anil Firojiya, MLA Paras Jain, Bahadur Singh Chouhan, Shri Mahesh Parmar, Shri Murli Morwal, Mayor Mukesh Tatwal, UDA Chairman Shyam Bansal, other public representatives and a large number of devotees were present at Sabha Mandap and Sawari Marg and Ramghat.
