‘Just Aspire – Notes on Technology, Entreprenuership and the Future’, a memoir of Cofounder of HCL Ajai Chowdhary. Padma Bhushan recipent, known as ‘Father of Indian Hardware’ and alumni of the Jabalpur Engineering College (Government), Madhya Pradesh was released today in a function held at Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh.
The book captures his extraordinary journey from a young boy in Jabalpur (MP) to become the ‘Father of Indian Hardware’.
The book is all about – Notes on Technology, Entrepreneurship and the Future.
Dr. Ajai Chowdhry is a visionary pioneer who co-founded HCL in 1976 with five others persons. With a revenue of over 12 billion dollar today, this is the largest startup ever to be co-created by a person from Madhya Pradesh.
Ajai has been instrumental in establishing India’s electronics industry. He holds positions in the Advisory Board of India Semiconductor Mission of MEITY and is one several consulatation groups of NITI Aayog.
He has transformed various educational institutions into renowned centre of higher learning like IIT Hyderabad, IIIT Naya Raipur and NIFFT Ranchi.
Dr. Ajay Chowdhary said growing up in this city and when I was setting out for my career, I never dreamed that one day I would find myself standing in the ranks of pioneers who would revolutionize India and bring change. I only focused on making a meaningful contribution to the progress of India and that has brought me to the position where I am today. When I see today’s Indian youth and discuss with them, I find that they have a lot of spirit to go through, which gives me confidence that our country is ready to touch new heights and we will achieve those achievements. We can achieve things that have not even been thought of till now.
