Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that progress of any society will automatically lead to the progress of state and the country. Therefore, it is necessary for every society to be alert and active in order to progress in every field. The Madhya Pradesh government will provide opportunities for progress in various fields to the Meena community. Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the state level conference of Meena Samaj at Chief Minister’s residence today.
Announcements of Chief Minister Chouhan
On this occasion, Chief Minister Chouhan said that Jai Meenesh Welfare Board will be constituted for Meena Samaj. This board will have four members including the chairman. The chairman will be given the status of a minister. Necessary amendments will be made in the OBC list of Madhya Pradesh. Completition of under construction hostel building’s of society in Bhopal will be ensured. There will be an optional holiday on the birth anniversary of Lord Meenesh. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the TR I report will be sent to the Central Government, so that necessary decision can be taken. Necessary representation will also be given to Meena community.
The youth of the society take should advantage of the facilities in various fields
Chief Minister Chouhan said that Meena community will be provided necessary facilities in the field of education, agriculture, business, technical training and self-employment. Today, livelihood cannot be easily run by depending only on agricultural activities. It is necessary to increase income from dairy business, vegetable production, fruit production etc. The trend of youth should move towards business and industries. The state government has made a provision to provide up to Rs 50 lakh to the youth for setting-up industrial units through Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti scheme. For this, the benefit of interest subvention and government guarantee is also available. Youths who have passed class 12 and have graduated are being given the facility to get training in various industrial institutes under the Seeko-Kamao scheme. Along with learning skills, these youths will also be given a scholarship.
Maximum facilities have been given to farmers
Chief Minister Chouhan said that a large number of small and marginal farmers are receiving the amount every month through the Kisan-Kalyan Yojana. Other community members including Meena Samaj are also getting its benefits. Work has also been done to provide relief from the interest of the loan taken earlier to the people associated with agriculture. Not only this, concrete work has been done in Madhya Pradesh to make agriculture a profitable business due to increase in irrigation area. By amending the provisions of Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana, initiative has been taken to benefit the families having tractors. All these schemes are beneficial for the lower-middle class families. On completion of the target of providing one lakh government jobs by the state government, the process of 50 thousand new recruitments will also be started.
In the beginning, Chief Minister Chouhan placed the palanquin of Lord Shree Meenesh on his head and got it seated on the stage. The convention started with Kanya Pujan and lighting of the lamp.
Chief Minister Chouhan was felicitated by showering flowers by the community members.
State president of the Samaj, former judge Lalaram Meena, former minister Suryaprakash Meena, Mamta Meena, former MLA Chachoda Jawahar Singh Meena, Jaswant Meena, Ranveer Rawat, Ganpat Meena, Santosh Meena, Janpad President Manju Patel of Bherunda, Ramsingh Meena and other representatives and community members from the districts were present in large numbers. Initially, a suggestion letter was handed over to Chief Minister Chouhan on behalf of the society. Former minister Suryaprakash Meena also addressed the convention.
