Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan planted saplings of Banyan, Neem, Mahua and Karanj in the garden located at Shyamala Hills, Bhopal today. Along with the Chief Minister, the children of Raisen district planted saplings today. They included class 9th and 10th girl and boy students of Bright Vidyalaya Obedullaganj, Christ Vidya Bhavan, Chanakya Vidyalaya and Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Obedullaganj. The children got their photographs clicked with Chief Minister Chouhan and also took selfies. Delighted and excited children said “Our Mama is the best.” The children had come to Bhopal to see the Tribal Museum.
Chief Minister Chouhan told the children that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has implemented a new education policy in the country. The policy also lays emphasis on such activities, in which children take some time out of school and books to visit various museums, monuments and natural scenic spots, so that they also become acquainted with the practical life.
Along with Chief Minister Chouhan, other social workers also planted saplings. Today along with the CM, Yogendra Kumar, Arun Kumar Lodhi, Nagendra Shukla, Ashish Mahawar, Balaghat’s workers Jitendra Gautam, Raveena Gautam, Ravindra Sonwale, Rajesh Rahangdale and Chhindwara’s Sarvshi Ramvtar Dangi, Pradeep Singh Thakur, Chetna Raghuvanshi, Abhilasha Dangi also planted saplings. Others who planted saplings included Bala Saini, Yash Aggarwal, Vinod Nagar, Nilesh Vaishnav, Rithik Sen, Jaiprakash Sharma, Amber Sharma, Pooja Lodhi, Nitesh Arora and Rajesh Sharma etc.
Babita, who received assistance for treatment of kidney disease from the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund, planted saplings along with her family members. Babita has got a new life with the help of treatment. Babita expressed gratitude to CM Chouhan for the medical assistance.
