The Madhya Pradesh Transmission Company (Transco) has achieved success in energizing by constructing 132 KV Mandla Maneri line and feeder bay for industrial area Maneri and tribal dominated district Mandla at 132 KV substation Maneri.
Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar informed that this line has been established and energized at an estimated cost of Rs 69.5 crore.
This line is the first transmission line in the state, which has been remotely energized using HMI technology from Shakti Bhavan, the headquarters of power companies.
Energy Minister Shri Pradyuman Singh Tomar said that by energizing this important line, the power transmission system of industrial area Maneri and tribal-dominated district Mandla has become strong and reliable. Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar has congratulated the Transco personnel for this important achievement.
Tribal-dominated area, district Mandla will get electricity from Jabalpur and industrial area Maneri from Mandla
Mr. Narendra Tiwari, Executive Engineer of MP Transco said that at present supply was available from Jabalpur 220 KV substation Nayagaon and 220 KV substation Gorabazar at Maneri With the energization of this new line, Maneri will also be able to get supply through Mandla, if required, similarly 132 KV sub-station Mandla will also get supply to Jabalpur through Maneri in case of emergency.
Presently supply is available in Mandla from Seoni via Nainpur and from 220 KV Shahdol via Dindori.
MP Transco made 78.5 kilometer line amidst dense forests
MP Transco faced a lot of challenges in getting the 78.5 km 132 KV line from Mandla to Maneri ready.
The line has been constructed amidst dense forests with difficult topography. In which MP Transcon has completed the construction of the line after obtaining permission from the Forest Department for several towers.
