Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the role of employment assistants, anganwadi workers and assistants is important in the implementation of public welfare schemes of the state government. In view of his remarkable services, the state government has recently taken many important decisions in his interests. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was discussing with the representatives of Anganwadi and employment assistants’ organization at Tendukheda in Narsinghpur district today. Medical Education Minister Dr. Vishwas Kailash Sarang, former ministers Mr. Rampal Singh and Mrs. Sadhna Singh were also present.
Greeting letter presented to the Chief Minister
The organization of employment assistants, anganwadi workers and assistants in Tendukheda’s Mandi premises presented felicitation letters and mementoes to the Chief Minister in reference to the recent announcements made in their interests.
Dear sisters welcomed the Chief Minister
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was warmly welcomed by dear sisters at Tendukheda’s village Hirapur, Umarpani, Bhurasunheti, Tekapar, Gwari Tiraha, Mankapur Tiraha, Bhama and other places. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan announced to convert Government High School into Higher Secondary School in village Bhama on the demand of villagers. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the state government is determined for the economic empowerment of women. Accordingly, the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana has been implemented. Under this scheme, an amount of Rs 1000 will be transferred regularly on the 10th of every month to the accounts of eligible sisters. He told that now married women of 21 years will also get the benefit of the scheme. A portal for this will be launched soon.
Communicate with public service friends
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan interacted with public service friends. He learned the opinion of the people from Shivani Vishwakarma. Shivani told that Chief Minister Ladli Bahna Yojana is proving to be a milestone in the economic empowerment of women. Public service friends are monitoring the effective implementation of the state government’s scheme.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan mentioned the announcements
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan told the public that the honorarium of Anganwadi workers has been increased from Rs 10,000 to Rs 13,000 per month. The honorarium will be increased by Rs 1000 per year as an incentive. Mini Anganwadi workers will be given an honorarium of Rs 6500 per month. 50 percent posts will be reserved for promotion from assistant to anganwadi worker. He said that on retirement, one lakh 25 thousand rupees will be provided to the anganwadi workers and one lakh rupees to the assistants. Anganwadi workers and assistants will be given health and accident insurance of Rs 5 lakh like government employees.
Mention of announcement made in the interests of employment assistant
In his address, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also mentioned the announcements made in the interest of employment assistants in the past. He said that instead of monthly honorarium of Rs.9 thousand, employment assistant will be given Rs.18 thousand, general leave along with maternity leave, maternity leave as well as paternity leave. In the appointment of Panchayat Secretary, 50 percent seats will be reserved for employment assistants.
Received financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh immediately
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan interacted with Smt. Jeera Bai during his visit. Mrs. Jeera Bai told that her husband and two children have passed away in the last one year. Now there is no source of earning in the house. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan, showing sensitivity, instructed to provide financial assistance of Rs. 2 lakh to Mrs. Jeera Bai immediately. On which assistance of Rs 2 lakh was provided to Jeera Bai from Red Cross.
