Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the role of Rozgar Sahayikas, anganwadi workers and Sahayikas is important in the implementation of public welfare schemes of the state government. In view of their remarkable services, the state government has recently taken many important decisions in their interests.

Chief Minister Chouhan was discussing with the representatives of Anganwadi and Rozgar Sahayika Sangathan at Tendukheda in Narsinghpur district today.

Medical Education Minister Dr. Vishwas Kailash Sarang, former ministers Shri Rampal Singh and Smt. Sadhna Singh were also present.

Felicitation letter presented to the Chief Minister

In the Mandi premises of Tendukheda, the Rozgar Sahayika, Sahayika and anganwadi workers sangathan presented felicitation letters and mementos to the Chief Minister in reference to the recent announcements made in their interests.

Ladli Bahnas welcomes the Chief Minister

Chief Minister Chouhan was warmly welcomed by the Ladli Bahnas at Hirapur, Umarpani, Bhurasunheti, Tekapar, Gwari Tiraha, Mankapur Tiraha, Bhama and other villages of Tendukheda.

Chief Minister Chouhan announced to convert Government High School into Higher Secondary School in Bhama village on the demand of villagers. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the state government is determined for the economic empowerment of women. Accordingly, the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana has been implemented. Under this scheme, an amount of Rs 1000 will be transferred regularly on the 10th of every month into the accounts of the eligible Bahnas. He told that now married women of 21 years will also get the benefit of the scheme. A portal for this will be launched soon.

Interaction with Jan-Seva Mitras

Chief Minister Chouhan interacted with Jan-Seva Mitras. He learnt the opinion of the people from Shivani Vishwakarma. Shivani told that Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana is proving to be a milestone in the economic empowerment of women. Jan-Seva Mitras are monitoring the effective implementation of the state government’s scheme.

CM Chouhan made a mention of announcements

Chief Minister Chouhan told the gathering that the honorarium of Anganwadi workers has been increased from Rs. 10,000 to Rs 13,000 per month. The honorarium will be increased by Rs. 1000 per year as an incentive. Mini Anganwadi workers will be given an honorarium of Rs. 6500 per month. 50 percent posts will be reserved for promotion from Sahayika (assistant) to anganwadi worker. He said that on retirement, one lakh 25 thousand rupees will be provided to the anganwadi workers and one lakh rupees to the Sahayikas in lump sum. Anganwadi workers and Sahayikas will be given health and accident insurance of Rs. 5 lakh like government employees.

Mentions announcements made in the interests of Rozgar Sahayak

In his address, Chief Minister Chouhan also mentioned the announcements made in the interest of Rozgar Sahayaks in the past. He said that instead of a monthly honorarium of Rs. 9 thousand, Rozgar Sahayaks will be given Rs.18 thousand, they will be given maternity leave along with general leave and paternity leave along with maternity leave. In the appointment of Panchayat Secretary, 50 percent seats will be reserved for Rozgar Sahayaks.

Received financial assistance of Rs. 2 lakh immediately

Chief Minister Chouhan interacted with Smt. Jeera Bai during his visit. Jeera Bai told that her husband and two children have passed away in the last one year. Now there is no source of income in the house. Chief Minister Chouhan, showing sensitivity, instructed to provide financial assistance of Rs. 2 lakh to Jeera Bai immediately. On this assistance of Rs. 2 lakh was provided to Jeera Bai from Red Cross.
