Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reviewed the law and order situation in Indore this morning.
CM Chouhan instructed to take the strictest action against goons, miscreants and anti-social elements.
It is necessary for the general public to have faith in the police, he said.
He said that activities like consuming liquor and intoxication in public places would not be tolerated. Immediate action should be taken against the persons involved in such activities.
Additional Chief Secretary Home Rajesh Rajoura, Director General of Police Sudhir Saxena, ADG Intelligence Adarsh Katiyar, OSD to Chief Minister Anshuman Singh and other officers were present in the meeting held at the CM’s Residence Samatva Bhavan office. Indore Commissioner Pawan Sharma, Police Commissioner Makrand Deoskar, Collector T. Ilaya Raja and district administration officials attended the meeting virtually.
