Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board’s ‘Expert Shot 3.0’ concluded on Thursday with the promise of shooting international, national and regional projects in the state.
Principal Secretary Shiv Shekhar Shukla urged them to show the natural beauty, local culture and rich heritage of the state in films. Also assured all possible help from the government.
All the guests also planted saplings along with Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
On the last day, at the Kushabhau Thackeray International Convention Center (Minto Hall), encouraging the young generation to make a career in the field of film, he also promised all possible help.
The representatives of the country’s famous production houses, producers, directors discussed with Principal Secretary Tourism and Culture Department and Managing Director – Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board Shiv Shekhar Shukla during two days about opportunities for shooting in the state, investment in film infrastructure development and participation of local artists discussed.
Madhya Pradesh now prime destination for shooting – Producer Vani Tripathi
Famous actress and producer Vani Tripathi Tikoo said that the land of Madhya Pradesh is very simple and easy. There is a new story to tell in every area here. If we want to become Vishwaguru, then our countless stories have to be brought before the world. Due to the policies of MP, it has won the Best Film Friendly State award thrice. This state has become a major state for shooting of films, web series and other projects.
Promise of shooting for international project
Producer and Founder of Jugaad Motion Pictures Dheer Momaya has promised to shoot one of his Indo-UK projects in Madhya Pradesh. He said that he has visited states like Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh for film shooting, but after coming to Madhya Pradesh, he felt that his search has ended here. Similarly, Producer (Telugu) Sunita Tati from Guru Films also talked about shooting one of her regional projects in the state. Representatives of major production houses like Lionsgate, Netflix, Jio Studios, Sony Entertainment also talked about the shooting possibilities in Madhya Pradesh regarding upcoming projects impressed by the locations, policy and cooperation being received at the government level. Vivek Shrotriya, Additional Managing Director of Tourism Board thanked all the guests on the closing occasion.
Filmmakers coming again and again due to attractive policy
Principal Secretary Shri Shukla informed the delegates about the attractive policy and tireless efforts of the tourism department to promote film production and investment in the state. He said that Madhya Pradesh is a state rich in picturesque landscape and natural beauty. Due to special reasons like simple and easy permission system for film production, film-friendly policies, cooperation at the government level and hospitality, filmmakers are repeatedly coming to the state for film shooting.

The expert shot was attended by film, drama school students, line producers and various stakeholders from the industry including renowned producer and actor Vani Tripathi Tikoo, Magic Our Films Mumbai producer Sameer Sarkar, Zee Studio Mumbai head of production & commercial Sumit Khurana. Jio Studios Mumbai content alliance head Shobha Sant, 1H Media Consultants, Mumbai founder Hema Upadhyay, Sony Pictures Entertainment Mumbai head of production Dhairyasheel Nimbalkar, Film Producer (Telugu) from Guru Films Sunita Tati, Lionsgate India vice president (Originals) Mrinalini Khanna, Netflix director (production management) Parth Arora, Jugaad Motion Pictures producer and founder Dheer Momaya answered the participants queries based on various topics.
