The self-confidence of the women in the state got a boost when the money reached the bank accounts of the sisters under the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana. Beneficiary women have said that they will use the amount received to meet the basic needs of their household. They have thanked Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan from the bottom of their heart for this. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has transferred an amount of Rs. 1209 crore 64 lakh to the bank accounts of one crore 25 lakh sisters of the state at the state level programme held in Jabalpur on June 10.

Juhi Bi, a resident of Ward No. 3 of Shahdol city, got the first approval letter under the scheme. She said that she would use the amount received under the scheme to meet the needs of the family. Smt. Bhagwati Patel, a resident of village Panchayat Khamriyakalan of Shahdol district, has received an amount of Rs.1000 under the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana. She believes that she will no longer need to reach out to anyone for money.

The women of Ataria village of Rewa district of Rewa Janpad are overjoyed after getting the amount of Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana. They say that they will use the amount received to increase the income of their household. For this, they have also prepared a plan to set up a vegetable handcart. Sarita, a resident of Chhidriha village of Naigarhi district, says that I have a sewing business, she will expand the sewing business with the funds received from the scheme. Smt. Neha Vishwakarma, a resident of Ward No. 4 of Sidhi city, while clicking her photo at the selfie point as soon as she received the amount in the scheme, said that this is an innovative scheme of the Chief Minister in the history of the state. This will make women financially empowered.

Maya Singh, a resident of Raisen city, has also got the benefit of Ladli Bahna Yojana.

She thanked the Chief Minister for this. On receiving the amount, Sheetal Yadav of Ward No. 10 of Raisen said that the scheme will bring about change in the lives of women and they will get financial help in running their livelihood.

Kamla Bai of Ward No. 18 of Raisen says that Shivraj Bhaiya has started the Ladli Bahna Yojana to make the sisters empowered and self-dependent.

Ramghadi Bai of village Dhoti in Sheopur district has also got the benefit of the scheme. She tells that in the family my father-in-law got the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and the construction of my house is going on. Now I will get an amount of one thousand rupees per month in Ladli Bahna Yojana. It is double happiness for the family.
