Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the energy and ideas of the youth will provide new vision and opportunities for progress to Madhya Pradesh. Youth should develop an action plan keeping in view the possibilities in various fields and become partners of the government and society in its implementation. The state government is committed to the welfare of the youth and utilizing their energy in the interest of the state. Chouhan was addressing the first meeting of the Youth Advisory Council at the residence office Samatva Bhavan.
Feedback from youth will help in making schemes more effective
Chouhan said that the youth should give advice on making government programmes and schemes more effective and also get involved in their implementation. For the welfare and encouragement of the youth, it is necessary to identify the shortcomings of the schemes being run in the state and give feedback regarding them. This will help in removing the shortcomings of the scheme implementation.
Meaningful communication with the youth is necessary
Chouhan said that it is necessary for the people of the state to have faith in the state. Continuous meaningful dialogue with the youth is necessary to connect them emotionally. A system of communication should be developed with the youth living outside the state and the youth settled abroad. The youth should be informed about the progress of the state. Youth should also be included in the discussions related to the changing social and economic environment of the state and future action plan.
Youth will be rewarded for innovations
Chouhan said that there will be programmes for the youth in the state on July 23, on the birth anniversary of Chandrashekhar Azad, the young pioneer of the freedom struggle, who was born on the land of Madhya Pradesh. There will be activities like divisional level youth conclave, identifying young talents and connecting them with the activities of guiding and motivating the youth of the state, awarding the youth for innovation in the field of education, industry, art, environment etc. A youth anthem will be developed for the state and a youth calendar focused on activities related to youth will also be released.
