Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the national level main event on International Yoga Day will be held in Jabalpur on June 21. This national level programme on the theme of Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam should be organised with full dignity and maximum people should be connected with the programme.

Chouhan apprised himself about the ongoing preparations for the programme from the residence office Samatva. Minister of State for AYUSH Ramkishore Nano Kawre, Principal Secretary School Education Rashmi Arun Shami, Principal Secretary Ayush Sonali Vayangankar and officers were present.

It was told that the national level main programme will start at 6 am at the Garrison Ground in Jabalpur. Participation of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Governor of Madhya Pradesh Mangubhai Patel is proposed in the programme.

Chouhan, Union AYUSH Minister Sarbananda Sonowal will also participate in the programme. Yoga programmes will also be held in all the tourist and historical places, urban bodies and gram panchayats of the state on International Yoga Day. Information about ongoing preparations for the programme was also given in the meeting.
